Junior Engineer

Keith Engineering is looking for a qualified Engineer that either holds a completed University Degree or TAFE Diploma to work for our specialised engineering company. The successful applicant will work alongside our young and dynamic engineering and drafting team.

Keith Engineering is a long established, family owned, Australian manufacturer that specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of processing equipment for the red and white meat industry. Job Information:

• 40 Hour Week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:45

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assisting our engineering and drafting teams by modernising our existing processes with drawings and BOMs.

• Assisting in our equipment reconditioning evaluation and quoting process.

• Reading and interpreting design drawings and specifications.

• Conducting quality assurance checks on manufacturing drawings.

• Project costing and quoting for customers.

• Spare parts and stock item quoting

Selection Criteria:

• Knowledge and understanding of reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.

• Ability to problem solve and multi-task.

• High attention to detail.

• Strong organisational skills.

• Self-motivated.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Strong sense of teamwork.

• Good understanding of CAD software.

• Good understanding and operating ability of Microsoft Office.
