About the business
Tellus Civil is a locally owned civil earthmoving company based in Geelong and completing projects around South West Victoria. Tellus Civil owns modern, well maintained plant and equipment, and specialises in pavements. Work also includes bulk excavation, detailed excavation, and civil stormwater. Current areas of work include Geelong, Melbourne, and Western Victoria.
About the role
Exciting opportunities within the company with recently awarded projects across several Western Victorian areas. This has led to the need for an energetic operator that takes initiative and isn't scared to get out of the machine and help their team wherever required. We run concentrated, dynamic teams on our projects and that requires versatile and capable operators.
Essential behaviors & responsibilities for successful applicant:
Ability to work alone
Punctual & Reliable
Ability to troubleshoot & make decisions
Team player
Attention to detail and respect for plant and equipment
Experience in both excavators and track loaders
Ability and capacity to work away from home for short, concentrated stints if required. LAFHA provided
Project tasks include but are not limited to:
- Detailed Excavation
- Bulk excavation and stockpile load out
- Augered Piers
- Pavement prep and final trim
- Civil Stormwater Drainage
- Retaining Walls

Essential Licenses Required:
- Car License
- Excavator License
- Skid Steer License
- Construction Induction Card (White card)
Desirable licenses & qualifications but not limited to:
MR & HR Truck License
First Aid & CPR certificate.
