Memberships Consultant - Sales & Business Development

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a high-performing, target-driven and relentlessly motivated sales professional to join our team. This is a results-focused role designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-led environment and is motivated by closing deals, exceeding targets and driving measurable revenue growth.

As a Membership Consultant, you will take full ownership of memberships revenue, driving new business through relentless prospecting, disciplined pipeline management and consistent, high-conversion closing. Success in this role requires hunger, resilience and a strong closing instinct, balanced with the ability to sell a premium, relationship-led offering with credibility and discretion.

This role is ideal for a sales professional who is commercially sharp, competitive and accountable, yet capable of building trusted relationships and representing a high-end brand. You will be expected to deliver against clear targets, maintain consistent pipeline momentum, and contribute directly to the commercial success and growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new business acquisition and net member growth by identifying, engaging and converting high-calibre prospects aligned with the Florence Guild’s values and community.
• Execute lead generation and strategic prospecting initiatives across outbound activity, referrals and partnerships to maintain a qualified, high-velocity sales pipeline.
• Own and manage the full membership sales funnel, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation, conversion, onboarding and retention, delivering consistent pipeline coverage and conversion rates.
• Develop and maintain a high-impact referral and partnership network with key connectors, tastemakers, founders and aligned organisations to support sustained acquisition targets.
• Achieve revenue and membership targets through disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting and data-driven sales activity.
• Lead commercial negotiations and deal closure, ensuring optimal outcomes aligned to both member needs and Florence Guild revenue objectives.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Florence Guild, consistently and effectively communicating the value proposition to drive demand, credibility and market presence.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in new business acquisition, sales, business development, partnerships, memberships or client-facing revenue roles, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Experience within commercial property, commercial real estate, brokerage, premium workspace, memberships, luxury, lifestyle or other high-end customer environments is highly regarded.
• Sound commercial acumen and strategic selling capability, balanced with high emotional intelligence and the ability to build credibility, trust and long-term relationships.
• Proven ability to generate, manage and convert a sales pipeline, with experience owning the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation, closing and retention.
• Exceptional communication, presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate a premium value proposition with confidence, nuance and authenticity.
• A strong understanding of premium spaces, membership models, client experience and relationship-led sales, with the ability to engage sophisticated clients and decision-makers.
• A genuine appreciation for quality, discretion, luxury, lifestyle and community-led growth, with an instinct for representing a premium brand at the highest standard.
• Highly motivated and self-directed, with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to forecast, prioritise and problem-solve effectively.
• Comfortable operating in a growth-stage, target-driven environment, bringing an entrepreneurial mindset, strategic agility and hands-on approach to building revenue, partnerships and long-term commercial relationships.
