The Role

You will join a fun, hardworking and energetic housekeeping team who are responsible for ensuring all hotel linen, employee uniforms and guest items are in good repair.

Day to Day

To provide a professional and courteous service at all timesTo count and check that Guest Laundry and Dry Cleaning items correspond with the completed Laundry & Dry Cleaning docketTo liaise with Laundry Service Provider in relation of Laundry and Dry Cleaning proceduresTo efficient use of washing machines and dryers to launder guest items and staff uniform To perform handwashing of delicate or specialty items when necessary, ensuring careful handling and proper cleaningTo allocate uniforms to new employee and to inspect all uniforms to ensure they are maintained in good repair.To Inspect all uniforms to ensure they are in good order and are maintained in good repair, ensuring hems, zippers, buttons and any other repairs are attended to.

Qualifications

A good understanding of English so that you can communicate with each other and our Guests.Not have any issues bending, lifting and walking for long periods.Be flexible enough so that you can work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
