 We have an exciting opportunity for a Conference and Event Organiser to join the Mangrove Hotel. This role requires a strong level of communication, organisation, attention to detail, and commitment to providing an outstanding guest journey.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively follow up on enquires in a timely manner, providing accurate information and personalised attention.

• promoting conferences, conventions and trade shows to potential customers

• Conduct venue site inspections and client meetings as required.

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of all functions and events, ensuring timely and effective communication is achieved with the operations team.

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, suppliers and partners to enhance offerings and exceed client expectations.

• Maintain accurate business forecasts and communicate them to relevant departments to optimise resources and revenue.

  To be successful in this role you must have:

• Strong guest relations and passion for creating elevated experiences.

• Strong knowledge in all areas of conferences and event sales

• Outstanding attention to detail and time management.

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Excel.

• With a minimum of one year working experience in the relevant field.

Salary between $79,423 and $85,000 per annum plus superannuation.
