ARCW Field Manager

About the Role

As a Field Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing field operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget while leading internal crews and subcontractors.

Additionally, you'll:

• Manage daily field operations and coordinate resources to achieve project milestones
• Lead and promote a strong safety culture through toolbox talks, risk assessments and compliance activities
• Monitor subcontractor and workforce performance to ensure quality, productivity and project outcomes are achieved
• Develop work schedules and allocate labour, equipment and materials effectively
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders
• Track project progress, report on site activities and manage variations and as-built documentation

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Network Integrity – Asset Relocation Space
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and field crews within a civil construction or telecommunications environment
• Strong understanding of Telstra networks, DBORs, Netmaps, CMARTS, LAANS, DBYD plans and telecommunications construction standards
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills
• A strong commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence, with the flexibility to travel and work remotely when required
