Project Engineer

About the Role

As a Project Engineer, you will support the end-to-end delivery of Telstra Wireless projects, ensuring construction activities are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Additionally, you'll:

• Coordinate the delivery of wireless infrastructure projects across new and existing mobile sites
• Manage subcontractors, supplier engagements, onboarding activities and compliance requirements
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts and financial performance to support successful project outcomes
• Review and manage quality assurance documentation, defect rectification and project handovers
• Prepare weekly and monthly project reporting for internal stakeholders and clients
• Collaborate with project managers, field teams and client representatives to ensure successful project delivery
• Management & coordination of third-party suppliers of goods, Telstra, Ericsson supplied materials
• Oversight of Telstra CMART, Drake, DBoRs, Acceptance

About You

• Experience delivering telecommunications projects, ideally within Telstra environments
• Degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related technical discipline
• Strong understanding of wireless network deployment, construction or mobile infrastructure projects
• Proven experience managing subcontractors, project schedules and stakeholder relationships
• Sound commercial and financial acumen with the ability to manage project costs and reporting
