Sales Support & Shed Coordinator

Tassie Sheds is a small, family-owned Hobart business, and we're growing. We're looking for a reliable, articulate person to become a key part of the team, someone who's happy to learn, follows a process well, and takes pride in getting things sorted properly.

This is a varied role with plenty of customer contact. You'll be on the phone a fair bit, helping customers and jumping on calls when the sales team is flat out, so you'll need to be confident and comfortable talking to people. Alongside that, a big part of the job is learning how sheds are actually built, all the parts and how they go together, so you can help track down missing items, sort out issues with suppliers, and keep orders moving. Over time, as you learn the products and the business, there's a genuine path into a sales role of your own.

What you'll be doing

• Answering calls, helping customers, and being a friendly voice when the sales team is busy

• Learning our products inside out, so you can help solve problems and track down parts as they come up

• Coordinating with suppliers and following things through to sort out issues

• Preparing orders and keeping everything moving with the team

• Keeping records and our CRM tidy so nothing slips through

• Learning our shed design software and business systems

• Confident and articulate on the phone, and genuinely comfortable talking to customers

• Organised, with follow-up that doesn't drop the ball

• Quick with computers and happy to learn new software

• Someone who takes pride in the practical, behind-the-scenes side of a business, not just the glory jobs

• No shed or construction experience needed. Bring the right attitude and we'll teach you the rest
