Reliable Building Materials is a well-established importer and distributor specialising in aluminium window and door hardware. We supply quality hardware products to builders, fabricators, installers, trade customers and businesses across the market.

Our head office is located in Sydney, and we also have a Brisbane branch. As our business continues to grow, we plan to expand with more branches across Australia in the future.

We are looking for a motivated, reliable and well-organised Sales Coordinator to join our growing Sydney team.

This is a hands-on and varied role combining sales support, customer service, order coordination and warehouse assistance. You will work closely with our sales and warehouse teams to assist customers, prepare quotations, process and follow up orders, support new business development and help ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.

The successful candidate will be proactive, customer-focused and willing to assist across different areas of the business when required. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, solving problems, staying organised and being part of a growing business.

There is also a clear opportunity to develop into a Sales Representative / Business Development role, with increased commission and earning potential as your experience and responsibilities grow.

• Assist customers with enquiries, quotations, orders and product information

• Prepare quotations and follow up with customers on sales opportunities

• Process customer orders accurately and coordinate with the warehouse team

• Follow up orders and ensure customers are kept informed of progress

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers

• Help identify potential customers and new business opportunities

• Support the sales team in achieving sales targets and customer service goals

• Communicate product information clearly and professionally

• Build long-term business relationships with trade and industry customers

• Assist with organising and maintaining the warehouse

• Help with receiving, checking, picking and preparing stock when required

• Assist with stock organisation and maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse

• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure customer orders are prepared correctly and on time

• Assist with local customer deliveries or collections when required

• Help monitor stock availability and communicate stock requirements to the team

• Provide general administrative and operational support to the business

• Assist with other day-to-day duties as required

• Valid Australian driver licence – required

• Forklift licence – preferred

• Sales, customer service or warehouse experience preferred

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Reliable, organised and willing to learn

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Comfortable assisting with both sales and warehouse duties

• English and Chinese bilingual ability preferred

• Building materials or trade industry experience highly regarded
