Haul Road Support Officer (FIFO)

Agile Mining Services is a privately owned company providing specialist technical, mining, and mineral processing services to the South Australian iron ore industry. Our operations are located near Coober Pedy.

About the opportunity:

Agile Mining is seeking a Haul Road Support Officer who will be responsible for the safe and productive management of the haul roads, conducting compound inspections, Fauna management, maintenance of sewage systems, and our potable and raw water supply.

To apply for this role, you must be safety focused and have experience in open pit mining.

In the role you will be responsible for:

• Assisting in managing and maintaining mine site water supply.

• Assisting in managing and maintaining raw sewage and treatment tanks.

• Assisting in the maintenance of the site road network.

• Inspection and maintenance of our Rail loading compound.

What we are looking for:

• Heavy Rigid (HR)Minimum requirement.

• Semi (HC) Preferably.

• General knowledge with maintenance of unsealed & sealed roads (Essential).

• Poly welding certificate (Preferably) but not essential.

• Experiences with high pressure pipelines and pressure controls (Preferably) but not essential.

• Team player.

• Physically fit and can undertake manual labour in outdoor environments. 

• Capacity to work autonomously or as part of a team with minimal oversight.

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Additional requirements: 

The successful applicant will be required to:

• be site based on an 8/6 roster

• Hold a full driver's license.
