Senior Lawyer, Property

A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced property lawyer to join its well-regarded Melbourne property practice.

This opportunity suits a lawyer who enjoys high-quality transactional work, wants meaningful client exposure, and is looking to grow within a collaborative, commercially minded team. The practice is expanding and offers genuine scope to take on responsibility, run matters end-to-end and contribute to the development of junior lawyers.

The Role

You’ll work on a broad range of commercial property matters, including:

• Property acquisitions and disposals
  
• Commercial, industrial and retail leasing (acting for landlords and tenants)
  
• Property development and bulk development transactions
  
• Complex commercial and residential projects
  

The role offers exposure to a strong and diverse client base and the chance to work closely with senior practitioners on sophisticated transactions, with autonomy increasing as your experience grows.

About You

This role will suit a lawyer who brings:

• 4+ years’ PAE in property law
  
• Solid experience in property development and commercial transactions
  
• Strong leasing experience across office, industrial and/or retail assets
  
• Confidence running matters and dealing directly with clients
  
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style
