Medical Secretary

About the role

You will be involved in daily front of house duties at our Darlinghurst rooms, including patient greeting, appointment making, patient billing and liaising with Specialists as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Exercise confidentiality regarding patient care and all aspects of the practice
• Greet patient and other callers at the practice
• Deal with referring doctors and hospital staff
• Answer telephone promptly and courteously
• Make outgoing phone calls as required
• Manage daily correspondence
• Arrange Appointments
• Check in patient arrival
• Update any information on medical records in computer
• Scan patients reports in file

About you

• 2 years or more medical receptionist experience
• Excellent personal communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail
• Basic word processing skills
• Experience with Audit 4, but willing to train
• Ability to work in a team
