Director Support Officer

Your new role:

As Director Support Officer, you will provide high-level, confidential administrative and secretarial support to senior nursing and midwifery leadership, helping ensure the Women's & Children's Service operates efficiently and effectively. You will play a key role in keeping priorities on track and supporting the team with:

• Proactively managing diaries, appointments, meetings and competing priorities.
• Coordinating and providing secretariat support for meetings, including minute taking.
• Managing incoming telephone calls, emails and correspondence.
• Coordinating medical onboarding, recruitment, interviews, mandatory training and access requirements.
• Managing rosters, leave requests, approvals and associated administrative processes.
• Maintaining electronic records, filing systems, databases and departmental registers.
• Coordinating room bookings, conferences, workshops, travel and accommodation arrangements.
• Processing purchasing and facilities requests and ensuring documentation is maintained within required timeframes.
• Building effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams and providing professional, confidential support.

About you:

We are looking for an organised and proactive administration professional who enjoys working independently while building strong relationships across a busy multidisciplinary environment, with strengths in:

• High-level diary and meeting management.
• Minute taking and meeting coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisation, prioritisation and multitasking abilities.
• Room booking and administrative coordination.
• The ability to manage competing deadlines with accuracy and discretion.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships.

Logan Hospital:

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
