Assistant Commercial Property Manager

About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for an Assistant Commercial Property Manager to join our Bowral office. You will assist in the day-to-day management of a diverse commercial property portfolio while developing your skills and knowledge within a high-performing commercial real estate environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with residential or commercial property management, or office management experience who is looking to take the next step in their career and transition into commercial property management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day management of a commercial, retail and industrial property portfolio

• Coordinate lease renewals, option exercises and rent reviews

• Prepare tenancy correspondence and lease-related documentation

• Maintain accurate tenancy schedules and property records

• Assist with landlord reporting and portfolio administration

• Respond to tenant and landlord enquiries in a professional and timely manner

• Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, landlords and contractors

• Assist in resolving tenancy and property-related matters

• Coordinate repairs and maintenance works and obtain quotations

• Assist with property compliance requirements, including Essential Services and AFSS obligations

About you

• Preferred 12 months' experience in residential or commercial property management

• Preferred NSW Assistant Agent Certificate of Registration or Class 2 Real Estate Licence

• Current driver's licence

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Strong financial literacy

• High attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
