The Role
We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our Toowoomba-based team.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play an integral role in supporting the successful delivery of building and construction projects, providing contract administration and project coordination across all stages of delivery.
Working closely with Project Managers and project teams, you will assist with subcontractor management, procurement, progress claims, project documentation and reporting, while helping ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements, legislation and Bryant policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide contract administration and project coordination support across projects
Assist with subcontractor procurement and administration, including subcontract agreements, progress payments and compliance documentation
Raise and manage purchase orders and undertake invoice reconciliation
Assist with the preparation of progress claims, variations, RFIs and other contractual documentation
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, registers, quality records and project files
Review contract documentation and assist with contractual clarifications and project requirements
Assist Project Managers with project programming, planning, reporting and monitoring of key deliverables
Monitor project progress across time, cost, quality and contractual requirements and escalate issues where required
Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project stakeholders
Support project teams to ensure reporting, compliance and administrative requirements are completed accurately and on time
About You
A minimum of two years' experience in Contract Administration or a similar construction-related role
Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline
Sound knowledge of construction contracts and contract administration principles
Strong planning, organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a project team
Ability to interpret construction plans, drawings and project documentation
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Project
Sound problem-solving, evaluation and analytical skills
Knowledge of relevant construction legislation, regulations, Australian Standards and Codes of Practice
Current General Construction Induction Training (White Card)
Driver Licence preferred
Ability to travel to project sites where required
