Disability Support Worker (Female)

Caring Health Professionals is an NDIS Health care provider based in Campbelltown, New South Wales.

Position: Female Support

Worker Location: Armidale, NSW

Shifts:

● Day: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

● Overnight: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and compassionate female Support Worker to provide person-centred support to an NDIS participant living with schizophrenia.

Key Responsibilities:

● Provide personal care and daily living support.

● Support the participant with daily routines and household tasks.

● Assist with community access, appointments and activities.

● Provide emotional and social support.

● Monitor and report changes in wellbeing or behaviour.

● Follow the participant’s support plan, medication procedures and NDIS guidelines.

● Maintain accurate shift notes and documentation.

● Support a safe, respectful and positive home environment.

Essential Requirements:

● Female Support Worker

● Current Australian driver’s licence

● Own reliable vehicle

● Previous experience supporting people with schizophrenia or psychosocial disability is highly desirable. (Preferred )

● NDIS Worker Screening Check.

● First Aid & CPR certification.

● Reliable, patient and professional approach.

● Strong communication and documentation skills.
