About The Opportunity
Ready to start building your career in the water industry?
Bundaberg Regional Council is offering exciting two-year Water Industry Operations traineeships, giving you the opportunity to earn while you learn and gain practical experience supporting essential water and wastewater services for our community. As a Water Industry Operations Trainee, you will work towards completing NWP30222 - Certificate III in Water Industry Operations while receiving hands-on training and experience within Council’s Water Services team.
Opportunities are available across two streams:
As part of your application, you will be asked to indicate whether you would prefer to be considered for Treatment or Networks.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to learn, has a genuine interest in the water industry and wants to develop practical skills while contributing to essential services for our community.
About You
You don’t need years of industry experience to apply. We’re looking for people who have a genuine interest in the water industry, are willing to learn and are ready to develop their skills as part of a team.
To be successful in these traineeships, you will need to demonstrate:

It would also be desirable to have relevant water industry training, licences, work tickets or qualifications applicable to your preferred stream.
