CARDIAC DEVICE & CLINICAL SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

PART TIME - Thursday and Friday with additional days available if desired.

Nepean Cardiology is excited to offer an excellent opportunity to join our team in a clinical support role. This is a unique role that will see you working autonomously to manage your own day and patient load whilst enjoying the company of colleagues at each of the clinic sites you visit. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll never be bored in this varied role which incorporates supporting cardiologists with patient ECG, BP and history taking during their appointments, visiting a number of our clinics to provide cardiac device monitoring (holter and blood pressure), performing ECG stress test alongside our doctors

ABOUT YOU

Whilst no direct experience is needed, the role could suit someone with previous training in pathology or phlebotomy, medical administrators looking to move into patient care or those who have completed EN or biomedical studies but have yet to find the right role.  

Applicants will need to have superior organizational and time management skills to ensure patient appointments run on time.  You’ll also need to show a keen interest in working within the medical industry and some knowledge of what these tests involve.

As you’ll often be the first and only point of contact for our patients, you will need to have a professional manner with exceptional communication skills and impeccable presentation.  

We’re flexible in our recruitment of the ideal person for this role as we want a candidate that is a great fit for our overall clinical team and our patients.

A drivers license (probationary or full) is absolutely essential for this role as rostering across our TEN clinics is needed to ensure sufficient cover for our cardiologists and a balanced workload for all staff, therefore your own reliable wheels are also a must!
