Machinery Technician

We’re Melbourne-based but service customers right across Australia, and we’re looking for a Full-Time Technician to join our growing team.

No two days will be exactly the same. You’ll work with a wide range of specialised woodworking and aluminium machinery, helping customers keep their businesses running.

Your role will include:

• 🔧 Servicing and maintaining woodworking and aluminium machinery

• 🚨 Attending machinery breakdowns and carrying out fault finding

• ⚙️ Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues

• 🏗️ Installing and commissioning new machinery

• 🔩 Carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance

• 🤝 Working directly with customers and providing technical support

• 🏭 Working across industrial, commercial, education and correctional environments

• 🚐 Travelling to customer sites throughout Victoria and interstate from time to time

We're looking for someone who is practical, reliable and enjoys solving problems.

You may already be an experienced machinery technician, or you could have a strong mechanical or electrical background and be looking to take your skills into a specialised industry.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience servicing, repairing or installing machinery

• Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills

• A practical, hands-on approach

• Good communication and customer service skills

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A current Driver's Licence

• A current Working with Children Check

• Ability to successfully pass a Police Check

• Willingness to travel interstate from time to time

Experience in the woodworking, aluminium or industrial machinery industry will be highly regarded.

An MR Licence will also be highly regarded.

Based in Melbourne, you'll have the opportunity to work on machinery and projects across a wide range of customer sites.
