Location: Port Adelaide, SA Hours: 34 to 38 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday. Generally 8:30am to 4:30pm, with an 11:00am to 7:00pm shift on Thursdays and 8:30am to 2:00pm on Saturdays. Hours may be adjusted slightly. Applications close: Monday 31 August 2026

About the role

Black Diamond Tattoo and LaserTat tattoo removal are looking for a capable, energetic admin assistant to join our team. You'll split your week between the tattoo studio and the laser removal clinic, keeping both running smoothly and being the friendly face clients meet when they walk in.

This is a varied, people-focused role with a strong hands-on content side. Alongside reception and admin, you'll be the person making our reels, posting across our channels, and keeping our social media active and on-brand, so content creation is a core part of the job. One moment you're managing a booking, the next you're filming a reel, greeting a nervous first time client, or making sure the artists have everything they need to do their best work. If you're organised, creative, and genuinely enjoy looking after people, you'll fit right in.

What you'll be doing

• Reception and customer service: greeting clients warmly, answering emails, DMs and phone calls, and providing informed, professional support in person and online.
• Client and booking management: coordinating appointments with Black Diamond artists and LaserTat technicians, and following up with clients.
• Social media and marketing: making and posting content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube (including reels and stories), building creative campaigns, and tracking analytics to see what's working.
• Website and newsletters: keeping our Squarespace website up to date and helping put together email newsletters.
• Keeping the studio running: routine tidying and cleaning (dishes, vacuuming and the like), maintaining stock lists, noticing when we're running low, and ordering in good time with the artists preferences in mind.
• Supporting the team: day-to-day help for artists and technicians, supporting the directors with the smooth running of the studio, daily coffee and lunch runs, and being attentive to clients throughout their appointment.

What we're looking for

Essential

• Demonstrated experience creating social media content, including making and posting reels, writing captions and managing a brand's accounts
• Experience in customer service, administration or front desk
• A friendly, professional people person with a positive attitude
• Independent, motivated and good at problem solving on the fly
• Organised, with an eye for detail
• Well-presented and professional in attitude, appearance and values
• Confident with everyday digital tools (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Squarespace)

Desirable

• Experience in creative industries (applicants with this background will be prioritised)
• Comfortable being on camera as well as behind it
• Happy to move between Black Diamond Tattoo and LaserTat day to day
