Internal/External Sales Positions

About the role

Kalpumps Sales and Service is expanding our Kalgoorlie team and currently has multiple opportunities available across Internal Sales and External Sales/Area Manager – Pumps positions. We welcome applicants across all experience levels, from those looking to launch a career in sales through to experienced pump industry professionals ready to manage their own territory. You'll be promoting our comprehensive range of pump solutions to mining, processing, and agricultural clients across the Goldfields region.

Internal Sales – key responsibilities

• Handle inbound sales enquiries via phone, email, and in-person at our Kalgoorlie branch

• Assess client applications and recommend the correct pump solution for each requirement

• Prepare and deliver quotations and proposals

• Process orders and follow up on quotes

• Liaise with the technical team to ensure accurate product information

• Maintain accurate sales records

External Sales/Area Manager – key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across mining, processing, and agricultural sectors

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients

• Present and demonstrate pump solutions tailored to client specifications

• Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and sales presentations

• Manage and grow a designated territory across the Goldfields region

• Contribute to achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets

What we're looking for

• We welcome applicants across all experience levels — from entry-level candidates eager to learn, through to experienced pump sales professionals

• Previous sales experience is beneficial, and a B2B sales background is highly advantageous

• Pump or industrial equipment knowledge is a plus but not essential for Internal Sales; 2-3+ years' pump sales experience preferred for the External Sales/Area Manager role

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/sales systems

• A valid driver's licence
