The RoleContinued growth has created an opportunity for experienced Parts Interpreters to join Torquepower’s knowledgeable Sales team in Archerfield, Brisbane.This is a customer-focused technical sales role for someone who values accuracy, responsiveness and practical expertise. You will build strong customer relationships, understand their operational requirements and recommend the most suitable parts solutions for their applications.Previous experience with Cummins parts or products will be highly regarded. However, candidates with a strong heavy-duty diesel background and a willingness to develop their Cummins knowledge are also encouraged to apply.We also welcome experienced Cummins or heavy-duty diesel technicians looking to move off the tools and apply their technical knowledge in a parts and sales environment.Torquepower’s success is built on the strength of its people. Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesManage in-person, telephone, email, website and online sales enquiries.Accurately interpret and supply Cummins and aftermarket spare parts.Understand customer requirements and recommend the most suitable solutions.Prepare clear, accurate and timely quotations.Maintain proactive communication throughout the quotation and ordering process.Follow up outstanding quotations and customer enquiries.Assist customers with online orders and digital enquiries.Identify upselling and value-add opportunities.Collaborate closely with Torquepower’s sales, warehouse and technical teams.Contribute to a supportive, team-focused working environment.
What We Need From YouFormal Parts Interpreter qualifications will be highly regarded.Previous experience in heavy-duty parts interpreting, technical sales or a related role.Cummins or Kenworth product and technical knowledge will also be highly regarded.Alternatively, experience as a technician working with Cummins or other heavy-duty diesel engines.A genuine customer-first mindset.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Confidence using digital systems and technical resources, including QuickServe Online.Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.The ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team of experienced specialists.A practical, resourceful and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.A commitment to continually developing your technical knowledge.A strong commitment to workplace safety.
