Murrin Murrin Operations has an opportunity for an experienced boilermaker / pipefitter to join our established and dedicated team.

The Role

The successful person will become a member of our Central Works team as a Boilermaker/ Pipefitter.  In this role you will be working an 8:6 | 7:7 roster, rotating with your crew between swings of day and night shift. 

You will be responsible for:

• Perform pipefitting and boilermaking duties as required and according to maintenance schedules
• Completion of relevant preventative maintenance tasks across our process plant
• Assisting in the completion of breakdown and shutdown maintenance
• Identifying material grades

This role would suit a trade qualified boilermaker with coded welding skills able to pass multiple weld tests to ASME IX and AS3992 on a range of materials such as carbon steel, stainless steels, nickel alloys and titanium. 
You will also have:

• Trade Certification (Fabrication Trade)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a similar environment
• An Australian manual driver licence (essential)
• Previous pipefitting experience (preferred)
• Previous FIFO experience
• Basic Computer skills
