Aluminium Welder / Fabricator

5 Star Glass Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced Aluminium Welder / Fabricator to join our team in Banyo, Brisbane.

If you're a skilled fabricator who takes pride in producing quality work, can read shop drawings and enjoys seeing a project come together from start to finish, we'd like to hear from you.

This is a full-time, ongoing position with an immediate start available and overtime opportunities for the right person.

You'll be involved in the fabrication and welding of a wide range of custom aluminium products, including:

• Aluminium screens

• Balustrades

• Fences

• Gates

• Awnings

• Custom aluminium fabrication

• Other projects as required

You'll be working from detailed shop drawings, measuring, cutting, fabricating and welding components to produce finished products to a high standard.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has 4+ years' experience in aluminium welding/fabrication

• Can confidently read and interpret detailed shop drawings

• Has strong aluminium TIG/MIG welding and fabrication skills

• Can fabricate products accurately and efficiently

• Takes pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail

• Can work independently while also being a reliable team member

• Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Has valid working rights in Australia

• Full-time, ongoing employment

• Immediate start

• Pay rate based on experience and skill level

• Varied and interesting custom fabrication work

• A practical, hands-on role within an established business

Monday to Friday, with Saturday work available/required when necessary.
