Dispatcher

Our office is located in Campbellfield. We're seeking an experienced and passionate dispatch coordinator to join our dynamic team! Service Today is an innovative and rapidly growing home services company, offering plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling solutions to customers across Melbourne.

This position demands a highly motivated individual with strong communication skills, high attention to detail, excellent organisation skills and the ability to work in a challenging environment.

Key Requirements:

• Allocating and dispatching technicians within booked time frames, 

• Communicate with customers to provide regular updates and responding immediately to any deviation from initial plans;

• Maintain strong relationships with service technicians out on the road and office staff;

• Ensuring jobs are closed off and all relevant documentation is completed;

• Ensuring compliance with safety obligations under company policies, procedures and legislative obligations;

• Organising material and equipment for job sites;

• Ensuring the following days schedule is organised and communicated to service technicians;

• Completing timesheets daily for service technicians; and

• Other tasks as directed by management. 

About You: 

• 2 + years experience in a Dispatch Coordinator/ Allocator/ Dispatch Role but not essential

• Previous experience in a Trade industry is preferred 

• Strong ability to multi-task

• Computer literate with strong Excel skills

• Have an eye for detail and the organisational skills to provide top quality workmanship for customers; 

• Ability to follow policies and procedures; 

• Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff and co-workers; 

• Help maintain and promote a high company moral, professional, and friendly work environment.

The key to success in this role is to have strong time management skills, strong computer and software skills,  problem solving and communication skills, ability to multitask, self-motivated and able to work unsupervised, be a quick learner and able to meet deadlines and ability to maintain and coordinate operations.
