Do you want to work with international students and in a multi-cultural environment? Do you enjoy speaking to diverse people and promoting cultural exchange?

EF is an international language school who provides students with English classes, activities, transition support, accommodation and more. We are looking for driven, friendly and enthusiastic people for casual shifts supporting our accommodation service.

The exact hours and duties will depend on the skills and interests of the applicants as we maintain a small group of people who we can call on as needed.

Responsibilities can include:

• Selling our homestay program and the idea of international cultural exchange by making calls to potential hosts
• Attending local events as a promoter (markets, fairs, festivals and community outreach)
• Visiting hosts to conduct an annual house check, update records and discuss any feedback/concerns.
• Distributing flyers in local suburbs or transit hubs to recruit new families. 
• Hosting social events and activities for hosts and/or students in our student residences.  
• Conducting room checks, check in and check out support at our student residences. 
• Mediating roommate conflict by discussing the challenges of living together and sharing our tips to have a more successful shared living experience.

Requirements you bring are:

• Independent and target driven person.
• Strong aptitude for interpersonal connection, persuasion and rapport building. 
• Confident communicating and building relationships with a diverse range of people.
• Fluent in English.
• Available to work some evenings and weekends if required.

Applicants must be already in Australia with a visa allowing paid work. There is also potential for EF to help staff get student residence accommodation on site in lieu of the equivalent salary if needed.
