Join the Prince of Wales Hospital Social Work Department. We are seeking suitable candidates for a 12-month maternity leave backfill position within our Neurosciences Team, working in the Spinal Injuries Unit.
This is an excellent opportunity for social workers who are interested in expanding their experience in a specialist clinical area and contributing to a highly regarded service. The successful applicant will be based in the Spinal Injuries Unit, working as part of a comprehensive and supportive multidisciplinary team to provide specialist psychosocial care to patients and their families. This role offers valuable experience in a complex healthcare setting, opportunities for professional growth, and exposure to the unique challenges and rewards of supporting patients and families following a spinal cord injury.

What you'll be doing
Plan, coordinate, and implement in-depth levels of clinical expertise and extensive specialised knowledge within a social work specialty area in order to provide high quality counselling, advocacy and therapeutic care to the patients, their carers and families of the facility consistent with NSW Health, South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) policies, procedures and standards.
