About The Role
We are seeking a passionate Educator for our Early Learning Centre in Early Childhood. This is a casual role (20-25 hours per week). No set number of hours, availability between 6:45-6pm. shifts will most likely be more afternoon shifts (9-5 and later)
The Early Childhood Educator provides practical support to teaching staff by assisting with student learning, completing routine administrative tasks, and maintaining a well-presented learning environment. This includes organising resources and ensuring materials and equipment are appropriately maintained.
Key Responsibilities
The Early Childhood Educator works closely with the other Educators and the Early Childhood Teachers and reports to the Director of Early Learning for all day to day duties and responsibilities. Early Childhood Educators are responsible and accountable for their own work which is performed within established guidelines using some discretion and is subject only to general supervision.

Support children's learning and developmentAssist with classroom and learning program deliveryProvide student supervision and wellbeing supportPrepare resources and complete administrative tasksCommunicate with parents, teachers and ELC staffContribute to observations and documentationAssist with excursions, events and daily operationsMaintain a safe, engaging and supportive learning environment
Essential Qualifications And Licenses
Have a current Blue Card (Paid) Diploma of Early Childhood Education First Aid, CPE, Anapphylaxis and Asthma - Anaphylaxis is spelt wrong. Also must have Geckko Training completed3 years working with Children under 12 - not necessary Must be willing to act as a responsible person when required - not necessary
