The Opportunity

Operations Manager | Full Time | Gasworks

We're looking for an Operations Manager to join our Retail team at Gasworks, one of Brisbane's most distinctive mixed-use destinations. Combining retail, dining, lifestyle and commercial spaces, Gasworks offers all the benefits of a vibrant precinct without the scale of a major regional shopping centre.

This is an opportunity for an operations professional who enjoys variety, autonomy and building strong stakeholder relationships. You'll work closely with the Centre Manager and be trusted to take ownership of operational performance, safety and compliance, contractor management and capital works delivery across the asset

You will make an impact by:

·       Leading operational delivery across the asset.

·       Managing contractors and service providers to ensure high performance standards.

·       Supporting health, safety and compliance outcomes across the precinct.

·       Coordinating maintenance programs and operational projects.

·       Contributing to operational budgets, forecasting and business planning.

·       Supporting capital works projects from planning through to delivery.

·       Building strong relationships with tenants, contractors and key stakeholders.

·       Working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver commercial outcomes.

About You

You may already be an Operations Manager or Facilities Manager within retail, commercial property, hospitality or a similar environment. Most importantly, you're someone who takes ownership, enjoys solving problems and has a genuine desire to learn and grow.

You will bring:

·       5+ years' Experience in operations, facilities or property management

·       Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

·       Exposure to budgeting, financial management or capital projects

·       The ability to prioritise competing demands and adapt to changing priorities

·       A collaborative approach and willingness to work as part of a close-knit team

·       A proactive mindset and strong sense of accountability

·       Strong understanding of community or sub-regional retail centres

·       Confident engaging face-to-face with retailers

·       Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
