Registered Nurse - Community

• Eastern Shore Community Nursing, based in Rosny Park, providing a 7 day a week community nursing service in homes and clinics across Hobart's eastern shore catchment.
• Our nursing team specialises in assessment, planning and implementation of wound care, catheter/stoma/drain care, palliative care and post-acute clinical care.
• We offer a supportive environment to develop and utilise the advanced clinical skills required to work both autonomously and as part of a team. 

• Provide high-quality, clinically appropriate, person-centred care to clients in their homes and community clinics within the Eastern Shore of Hobart. 
• Engage clients, their families, and significant others in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, while promoting a safe and supportive home environment. 
• Maintain current knowledge, clinical expertise, and professional competencies relevant to the community nursing role through ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.

The Department of Health Tasmania oversees various hospitals across the state, including the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, Northwest Regional Hospital, and Mersey Community Hospital, as well as district hospitals and ambulance services. Additionally, it provides community health, mental health, and primary healthcare services to the Tasmanian community through more than 300 sites.

Fixed term full time, shift worker position, working up to 48 hours per fortnight, as soon as possible until 31 August 2027.

$80,524 to $109,175 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

Access to the Grade 4 salary range $102,439- $109,175 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

• Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type

• Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees from overseas, and up to $10,000 for appointees from interstate.

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse

• Current Driver’s Licence
