Sales Associate - Sydney Strand

Akubra is an iconic Australian hat manufacturer with a heritage spanning nearly 150 years. Built on quality craftsmanship and a spirit of adventure, our hats are synonymous with Australian culture and identity.

This August we’re opening our newest store in Brisbane, and we’re looking for Casual and Part-Time Sales Associates to join our team that takes pride in genuine customer connection and wants to represent a brand woven into the fabric of Australian identity.

What you’ll do

• Deliver an authentic, personalised experience for every customer who walks through the door.
• Build deep product knowledge across the Akubra range and bring that story to life in conversation.
• Support day-to-day store operations and contribute to a high-performing team culture.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues with confidence and professionalism.

What you’ll bring

• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with people.
• Ability to acquire and retain in-depth knowledge of the Akubra product range and brand history.
• A self-motivated, solutions-focused approach.
• Flexibility to work across a rotating casual roster, including weekends.
