People and Culture Business Partner

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) is a critical participant in the administration of justice within Western Australia, providing an independent and effective criminal prosecution service and confiscation practice.

The People and Culture Branch plays a key role in the development of contemporary, forward focused and innovative organisational and strategic business practices to ensure the organisation has the culture, capability and drive to meet current and future goals.

The branch is responsible for leading the delivery of strategic business partnering, organisational change and organisational capability with our leaders to enable a values-driven, capable workforce for the benefit of all Western Australians.

We are looking for an experienced business partner to join the ODPP People and Culture team.

This role is a unique opportunity that will see you working directly with people leaders in the Legal Services Division developing a trusted partnership to provide guidance, expert advice and support with their people challenges and opportunities. The role supports the Director People and Culture and the rest of the People and Culture Team with delivering our program of work for the ODPP.  

The successful applicant will have highly developed strengths in working with and supporting managers at all levels with their people management responsibilities.Your excellent performance management knowledge and application along with your flexibility and capability to work successfully in an ever-changing fast-moving environment will be highly regarded.  Significant knowledge of Public Sector employment legislation and associated policies, procedures and frameworks and their application is essential.
