Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator / Detailer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in estimating and detailing timber roof trusses, wall frames, and floor systems. Knowledge of Cornerstone and/or Sapphire software will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed quotes for timber roof trusses, wall frames, and flooring systems.

• Read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately.

• Generate layouts and cutting lists for production.

• Liaise with builders, contractors, and internal teams to ensure design requirements and deadlines are met.

• Assist in the design and optimization of timber structural components for cost-effectiveness and performance.

• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and industry regulations.

• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and team members throughout the project cycle.

Skills and Experience:

• Prior experience in a timber truss and frame estimating/detailing role is essential.

• Working knowledge of Cornerstone software is highly advantageous.

• Strong understanding of timber framing, truss construction, and building standards.

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications.

• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective time management and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
