Raw Materials Coordinator

Your Impact

As our Raw Materials Coordinator based at our Welshpool, WA site, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our production lines have the materials they need, when they need them. You’ll build strong supplier relationships, manage risks to material availability, support new product launches, and maintain excellent inventory accuracy. Working closely with planning, scheduling, procurement, and operations teams, you’ll help keep our manufacturing site running at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with 20–40 suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery of raw materials and consumables
• Maintain material availability for production plans and NPD, proactively managing risks and escalating when required
• Place and manage purchase orders, adjusting to schedule changes and monitoring supplier performance (including DIFOT)
• Minimise obsolete stock, manage run‑in/run‑out materials, and complete weekly cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory
• Lead supplier and internal planning discussions to communicate requirements, improve availability, and support continuous improvement

About You

You’re someone who enjoys keeping things moving and thrives in a fast‑paced, manufacturing or supply‑chain environment. You’re naturally organised, curious, and comfortable managing lots of moving parts. You can build great working relationships with suppliers and internal teams, and you’re confident communicating clearly and proactively.

• Strong SAP capability, especially with MRP tools
• Comfortable using Excel and confident working with data to solve problems
• Able to work independently while staying connected with the broader team
• Strong communicator who can influence and collaborate across functions
• A natural problem‑solver with great attention to detail
• Comfortable working with suppliers and building trusted partnerships
