Experienced High Intensity Support Worker

We are currently recruiting for a young participant who is in our care and inviting experienced support workers to apply. The positions are in the Logan/Redlands area.

The Ideal candidate should have experience in at least 2 or more of the following:

• Ventilation
• NGT feeding or PEG feeding
• Medication administration
• Oxygen Therapy
• Seizure management

The person we are looking for:

• passionate about working with children.
• able to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week,
• able to work both mornings, afternoon and weekends.
• Open drivers license and able to drive participants.
• Be a Team Player.
• good communication skills.

Qualifications & experience

• Certificate 3 and above in Disability or individual support OR
• completed first year of a health related degree eg. nursing, paramedicine.
• Over 12 months experience
• Knowing how to treat a child like a child. (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT)
• Proof of covid and most recent influenza vaccination (this is a request by the parents)
• Females only as per parents and client requests.
• Payrates are based on the SCHADS Award Social- Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award or Nurses Award for Enrolled Nurses [MA000100]

Pay: $67,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
