Ready to swap the Melbourne grind for a hands-on leadership role in one of Victoria's most beautiful settings, with accommodation provided? Set across 106 acres in the Yarra Valley region, Flowerdale Estate is an award-winning wedding, dining, accommodation and conference venue built around a historic 1842 homestead, lush gardens and rolling hills, a genuine multi-revenue destination business with a reputation to match.

This is a floor-based leadership role for someone with a genuine owner-operator mindset, not a desk job. You'll be across weddings and events, Gracie's Restaurant, accommodation and conferences, leading an existing management team with full autonomy to shape the next chapter of the business. This is a relocation role with accommodation provided on-site, whether you're Melbourne-based and ready for a change of pace or already in the region.

What you'll be doing

• Taking full ownership of the P&L across every revenue stream, including budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting

• Leading, developing and holding accountable an existing management team across departments

• Recruiting, onboarding and training staff as the team grows

• Designing and implementing stock control, ordering and supplier procedures to bring costs under control

• Driving guest experience standards across weddings, dining, stays and conferences, ensuring every part of the business reflects the same level of quality

• Reducing reliance on agency staff by strengthening the permanent team and internal systems

• Working closely with ownership on strategic direction while owning execution day to day

• Being visibly present and hands-on across service, events and daily operations, not managing from an office

What we're looking for

• A strong multi-department hospitality operator, ideally from a wedding, resort, or similar multi-revenue venue

• A true owner-operator mindset, treating the business's performance as your own

• Genuinely hands-on leadership style, comfortable running service rather than just overseeing it

• Confident owning budgets and cost control without needing it handed to you

• Experienced enough to drive real operational and structural change, not just maintain what's there

• Strong people leadership, with a track record of building and developing a team

• A passionate, front-footed leader

Salary: $100,000 - $110,000
