Educator

We need a keen, energetic and compassionate Educator for a casual, part-time role especially midweek after school. Applicants must like children and working with them in a busy and dynamic environment. You will need to be able to work under pressure with large groups of children, have basic life skills (making afternoon tea, being on time for work, understand active supervision etc) and have good communication and a willingness to learn about our Service and our guiding principles regarding the care of children.

We will provide training on the job for suitable applicants; you will be working with experienced Educators who will support you as you learn. We have 2 locations, one at Yarralumla and the other at Weston and you will be required to work at either Service.

Shifts start at 1.30/ 2.15pm until 6pm. We require someone especially on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy person to join our caring and team oriented workplace, you will need to provide two strong referees to attest to your good character and suitability to working with children.
