About the Nephrology Department (Dialysis)

The St Vincent’s Northside Dialysis service will provide in-patients treatments for admitted dialysis patients.  Our goal is to ensure smooth transitions of care between the patients' regular dialysis unit, our hospital and its various departments to deliver a safe patient journey in line with the NSQHS Standards.

About the role:

We’re currently seeking several experienced casual Registered Nurses with haemodialysis experience to join our team.   We are ideally seeking Registered Nurses with prior haemodialysis experience, who have acute experience and are competent with the Fresenius 5008 machines.

This a rare and fantastic opportunity for dialysis nurses wanting to re-skill and/or broaden their options across different areas within the hospital.  We welcome applications from experienced Dialysis Nurses seeking positions in non-dialysis roles with the potential for secondment to provide acute dialysis on as needed basis.

Things that work for us: 

• Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency is essential

• Haemodialysis experience is essential

• Experience with Fresenius 5008 machines would be highly desirable

• Acute nursing experience is highly desirable

• Post Grad Cert in Renal is highly desirable
