Practice Nurse Division 1

The opportunity

Craigrossie clinic' is seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Nurse Division 1 to join our team in Albert Park VIC 3206. This is a part-time role of three days per week - Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays 9am-5pm (or negotiable hours) , offering the opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative environment and make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of our patients.

Key responsibilities

• Providing high-quality nursing care to patients, including assisting with examinations, administering medications, and coordinating treatment plans

• Conducting health assessments, providing health education, and promoting preventive care. Drawing up care plans for chronic disease management liaising with the doctors

• Providing immunisations - an Immunisation Certificate from a recognised institution is essential

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with medical and legal regulations. Immunisations as requested by patients and doctors

• Collaborating with the multi-disciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care

• Assisting with the management of the clinic's operations, including inventory management and equipment maintenance

• Actively participating in continuing professional development to maintain and enhance nursing skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

• Registration as a Division 1 Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

• Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Practice Nurse or in a similar role within the primary care or community healthcare setting

• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team

• Proficient in the use of medical software and technology

• Experience with Best Practice medical software is required

• A passion for providing exceptional patient-centered care and improving health outcomes

• Immunisation certificate from a recognised institution.

• Australian permanent residency status is required for this position
