Senior Payroll Officer

Hands on role delivering end to end payroll for a growing Australian food manufacturer.

We’re a well-established and fast-growing National Australian food manufacturing business with operations across multiple sites. As the standalone Senior Payroll Officer, you’ll take full ownership of payroll running the pay cycle end to end and acting as the owner of our payroll and time-and-attendance systems. It’s a hands-on role with real autonomy and the chance to shape the function as the business grows.

The role

• Run the full payroll cycle end to end across 4 business units, accurately and on time. (approx. 300 direct employees)

• Complete timeclock reports for labour hire providers (approx. 100 employees)

• Own payroll compliance PAYG, superannuation, Single Touch Payroll, payroll tax and workers’ compensation

• Act as system owner for the payroll and time-and-attendance platforms, including setup, integrations and vendor management

• Interpret and apply awards and enterprise agreements

• Provide payroll reporting and reconciliations to Finance, and drive process improvement

About you

• Solid end-to-end payroll experience, ideally across multiple sites or entities

• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and obligations

• Experience owning or administering a payroll and/or time-and-attendance system

• Accurate and organised, comfortable working to recurring deadlines

• Discreet and professional in handling confidential information

This is a Perth-based role covering multiple sites, in both WA and Nationally.
