Our client is a well-established professional services firm providing business advisory, taxation, SMSF administration, and audit services to a diverse client base across Queensland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Intermediate Accountant looking to build strong technical capability and progress within a respected advisory practice. 

The Role: 

• Prepare financial statements, income tax returns and supporting workpapers 

• Assist with BAS, IAS and general tax compliance obligations 

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processing 

• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting tasks 

• Work with SMSF administration and related reporting where required 

• Liaise with clients and support day-to-day accounting queries 

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflow efficiency 

• Work collaboratively with senior accountants and managers across engagements 

About You: 

• Degree qualified in Accounting or related field (or working towards) 

• 1–3 years’ experience in public practice accounting 

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax compliance 

• Experience with Xero, MYOB or similar accounting systems 

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills 

• Good communication and client service ability 

• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop 

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
