📌 About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you'll provide high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, choice and community participation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing personal care and complex care support

• Supporting clients with daily living activities and household tasks

• Assisting clients to access the community, appointments and social activities

• Supporting clients with complex behaviours using positive behaviour support strategies

• Promoting dignity, choice, independence and individual goals

• Maintaining accurate documentation and client records

• Working collaboratively with families, allied health professionals and support teams

⭐ What We're Looking For

To be successful, you'll have:

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care (or Nursing qualification)

• Minimum 2 years' experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours

• Minimum 1-2 years' experience providing complex personal care

• Experience implementing Positive Behaviour Support strategies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate, reliable and professional approach

• Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, sleepovers, weekends and public holidays as required

• Current Driver Licence and reliable vehicle

• Comprehensive Car Insurance

• Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)

• NDIS Worker Screening Check

• Working with Children Check

• Full Australian working rights (all visa holders with valid work rights are encouraged to apply)
