Bakery Cafe Allrounder

Full-Time | 38 hours per week | Rotating roster including weekends

We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused Team Leader to join our team at our North Adelaide bakery.

You will spend plenty of time on the floor serving customers, making coffee and ensuring our products are beautifully presented, while also helping lead the team and keep the store running smoothly.

Working closely with the Team Manager a, you will help oversee the day-to-day operation of the bakery, including:

• Providing outstanding, friendly and efficient customer service

• Leading by example and supporting the front-of-house team during busy periods

• Making coffee and serving customers

• Food preparation, including sandwiches, platters and other bakery items

• Packing and displaying products to a high standard

• Assisting with staff rosters and coordinating daily team requirements

• Stock ordering

• Assisting with banking and daily cash-handling procedures

• Supporting opening and closing procedures

• Helping train and develop new team members

• Supporting the Team Manager with the smooth running of the store

We are looking for someone who is confident, organised and genuinely passionate about customer service.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or hospitality role

• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, positive approach

• Coffee-making experience

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment

• The confidence to lead and support a small team

• Good organisation and communication skills

• Previous experience in a retail bakery, café or hospitality environment

• Experience preparing sandwiches, platters or other food in a commercial setting

• Previous experience with staff rostering

This is a full-time position of 38 hours per week.

Our bakery is open:

Monday–Friday: 8:00am–5:00pm
Saturday: 8:30am–3:30pm
Sunday: 9:00am–3:00pm

The position operates on a rotating roster, and you must be available to work a combination of weekdays and weekends as required.
