What you’ll be leading

The APAC Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) plays a key strategic and operational role in supporting Equans Solar & Storage's growth across the Asia-Pacific region.

The role will support a geographically diverse workforce across Australia, Japan, and future APAC markets, ensuring HR practices remain aligned with both local regulations and Equans' global values and standards.

This is a hands-on role requiring a balance between strategic advisory and operational HR delivery in a fast-growing renewable energy business.

You’ll report to the HR Director of Bouygues Energies and Services.

Your main responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, and employee relations.
• Support the APAC leadership team in achieving business objectives through effective people strategies.
• Drive organizational effectiveness initiatives during periods of growth and transformation

• Provide guidance on employee relations matters, investigations, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure compliance with local employment legislation across APAC jurisdictions.
• Manage employment contracts, policies, and HR documentation.

• Coordinate performance review and goal-setting processes.
• Support succession planning and talent development initiatives.
• Identify high-potential employees and facilitate career development opportunities.

• Develop HR metrics and dashboards to support business decision-making.
• Support the implementation and optimization of HR systems and processes.
• Manage APAC HR policies and procedures.

• Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the region.
• Support internal communications and change management activities.

Project location : Pacific Highway, St Leonards

The profile we’re looking for

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
• 5-10+ years of HR experience, including business partnering responsibilities.
• Experience supporting multiple countries within the APAC region
• Experience managing recruitment, employee relations, and performance management processes.

2. One or two interviews with the hiring manager or relevant team lead
3. A final conversation may be held with an additional senior team member.
