What You’ll Be Leading

The APAC Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) plays a key strategic and operational role in supporting Equans Solar & Storage's growth across the Asia-Pacific region.

The role will support a geographically diverse workforce across Australia, Japan, and future APAC markets, ensuring HR practices remain aligned with both local regulations and Equans' global values and standards.

This is a hands-on role requiring a balance between strategic advisory and operational HR delivery in a fast-growing renewable energy business.

You’ll report to the HR Director of Bouygues Energies and Services.

Your main responsibilities:

Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, and employee relations.Support the APAC leadership team in achieving business objectives through effective people strategies.Drive organizational effectiveness initiatives during periods of growth and transformationProvide guidance on employee relations matters, investigations, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.Ensure compliance with local employment legislation across APAC jurisdictions.Manage employment contracts, policies, and HR documentation.Coordinate performance review and goal-setting processes.Support succession planning and talent development initiatives.Identify high-potential employees and facilitate career development opportunities.Develop HR metrics and dashboards to support business decision-making.Support the implementation and optimization of HR systems and processes.Manage APAC HR policies and procedures.Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the region.Support internal communications and change management activities.

The profile we’re looking for

Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.5-10+ years of HR experience, including business partnering responsibilities.Experience supporting multiple countries within the APAC regionExperience managing recruitment, employee relations, and performance management processes.
