Our Melbourne flagship clinic is searching for an experienced, passionate, and reliable senior receptionist to deliver high-class service and become the trusted guide for every patient's journey with us.

Please note: this role requires a minimum of 2 years' experience working in dental practice reception. Applications without dental experience will not be considered on this occasion.

About the Role

Full-time, based at our renowned Melbourne clinic. You are the first point of contact for every patient, in person, on the phone and over email, and you set the tone for the entire experience that follows.

What you'll actually do

• Welcome patients and manage the front desk to a premium standard
• Answer calls and respond to enquiries promptly, warmly and accurately
• Manage the clinic diary: bookings, confirmations, rescheduling, recalls and filling short-notice gaps
• Process payments, HICAPS claims, health fund enquiries and private billing
• Maintain accurate patient records and correspondence
• Support the clinical team with day to day coordination so the schedule runs smoothly
• Look after high profile and discerning patients with absolute discretion
• General administration and keeping the front of house calm and immaculate
• Present treatment plans and pricing with warmth and confidence, including finance and payment options

What You'll Bring:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a dental practice reception role. This is essential
• Working knowledge of dental practice management software
• HICAPS, health fund and private billing experience
• Confident understanding of dental terminology, item numbers and treatment sequencing
• Excellent phone manner and strong written communication
• A highly organised multitasker who stays calm when the day gets busy
• Warm, positive energy and polished personal presentation
• A genuine team player who notices what needs doing without being asked
• Reliable
• Valid Police Check and Working with Children Check
