We are an Osborne Park based healthcare manufacturing company with a small team of 15 staff, making various sewn and plastic aids used in aged care and for people living with injuries or disabilities. We strive to provide support and assistance through our wide variety of products and pride ourselves on our workmanship and friendly customer service.

About the role

You will be joining our customer service team in our office. The job is 5 days per week, from 8:15am to 3:45pm.

Tasks include:

• Processing quotations, sales orders, invoices and credit notes in Sage Pastel Evolution (experience not essential), including NDIS orders.

• Answering the phone & directing calls

• Customer Service advice on product enquires and which products to use

• Attending to walk in customers

• Liaising with customers to sort out problems, e.g. wrong deliveries

• Using various online customer portals for processing orders and payments

• Reading and responding to emails

• Payment chasing

• Filing

• Sending Goods Returns paperwork

• Track & Trace parcel information

• Office stationary re-ordering

Who do we think will be a good fit

This would be a great role for someone with office admin experience and is happy to work in a small team.

Customer service skills are essential, with experience using MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent literacy is essential. 

The ideal candidate will have had previous caring or nursing experience, hopefully with some of our Pelican products!

With the exception of the longer summer school holidays, you would be expected to work during other school holidays to cover other staff.

This role is only suitable for non-smokers, as we make medical products.

Skills and experience

MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent literacy and customer service skills are essential. We can teach you the program we use for processing orders.
