Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sydney, for an EOI - Senior Scheduler and Planner focused on transmission line projects. The role involves developing and maintaining detailed project schedules for transmission line design and construction, including resource loading, cost and time phasing, and critical path analysis. The Senior Scheduler and Planner will coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to track progress, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions. Responsibilities include preparing regular schedule reports and dashboards, supporting risk and scenario analysis, and ensuring alignment with client requirements and organisational standards. The role also includes contributing to continuous improvement of planning processes and tools, and supporting stakeholder communication on schedule-related matters.QualificationsDemonstrated expertise in project scheduling and planning for transmission line or similar infrastructure projects using tools such as Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.Strong skills in project controls, including progress measurement, cost and schedule integration, forecasting, and variance analysis.Solid understanding of construction methodologies, engineering workflows, and interfaces relevant to transmission line and power infrastructure projects.Ability to interpret technical documentation and design information to develop realistic schedules and resource plans.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform scenario planning and risk-based schedule analysis.Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across multidisciplinary project teams.Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools to support reporting and dashboard development.Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.Experience working on Australian infrastructure projects and familiarity with relevant standards and regulations is highly regarded.Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental management in line with ISO 9001, ISO 450
