Cellar Door Sales & Tour Guide

The Role:

We are currently seeking two Cellar Door Sales & Tour Guides to join our team on a casual basis, with a potential to move to full time employment in the future for the right candidate. Your key focus will be to increase wine sales to visitors to our Cellar Door, by outlining our vineyard's rich history, explaining how we produce our wine and introducing your audience to the diverse flavours and aromas within our product range. T

Whilst some prior experience in wine/sales environment would be viewed favourably, winer and vineyard knowledge/training will be provided for anyone looking to get a foot in the door and to make their mark in the wine industry.

In addition, you will also be required to assist with:

• Wine and membership sales;

• Wine tastings;

• Conducting tours of our production and winemaking facility;

• Participating in wine training to ensure you maintain high levels of knowledge of our products.

What we are looking for:

To be successful, you will have:

• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate;

• Hold, or ability to obtain, a Food Handlers Safety certificate (free online training available);

• A passion for wine with a strong wine knowledge base;

• Recent experience in a wine sales environment (preferred);

• A friendly and engaging personality with excellent communication skills;

• Polished presentation and grooming standards;

• Full working rights within Australia;

• A WSET Level 2 qualification (advantageous), and

• Own reliable transport as there is no public transport to our premises.
