Company Description OneTap is a group payments app designed to make splitting any bill effortless when people go out together. With OneTap, one person pays at the terminal and each member of the group is automatically charged their share at the same time, eliminating the need to front the bill or chase payments later. The app removes the hassle of sharing bank details, sending payment screenshots, and managing unpaid debts in group chats. OneTap is focused on creating a seamless, transparent payment experience for social groups.

Role Description The Social Media Marketing Intern will support the development and execution of OneTap.au’s social media presence across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Day-to-day tasks include planning and creating engaging content, drafting captions, assisting with social media calendars, and monitoring comments and messages to help build an active community. The intern will help track basic performance metrics, conduct competitor and audience research, and collaborate with the team to align social content with broader marketing initiatives. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Sydney, NSW, working closely with the marketing team in a fast-paced startup environment.
QualificationsAbility to demonstrate skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing, with an understanding of current platform trends and best practices.previous experience in Social Media Content Creation, including writing posts, creating short-form video, and basic visual editing.Foundational knowledge of Marketing principles and audience engagement strategies.Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to collaborate with a small team.Basic familiarity with social media analytics tools and willingness to learn performance tracking and reporting.Organizational skills with attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic startup setting.Interest in fintech, consumer apps, or payment technology is beneficial.Relevant coursework or a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (completed or in progress) is an advantage.
